An edition of 300 numbered kits, shipped complete in a rigid navy presentation box with the edition number on an applied brass plate.

Fourteen pieces. Eleven are the standard line. Two were made for this edition and are available only inside the Founder Kit — they are not sold separately and will not be reissued.

Only in the kit

  • Basalt Swatch Shirt — artist-designed, signed and numbered at the inner hem. Woven basalt cloth set into an off-white cotton body, the same mineral fibre specified in the Beach Recovery shoreline system. Basalt International's mark on the sleeve.
  • Basalt-Lined Bomber Jacket — built by a master fabricator. Matte navy technical shell, ribbed collar and cuffs, exposed gunmetal zip, and a full basalt-cloth lining quilted across the upper back. Edition number stamped on the interior label.

In the box

  • Basalt material specimen — a cut square of the fibre itself, pinned at four corners to a printed spec card
  • Edition certificate — numbered 001–300, two-colour letterpress, co-signed by Gregory J. Sarno and Joseph Berger
  • Founder's letter — one page on why the kit exists and what the basalt system is for
  • Project card — the current pilot, Pine Key Island in Tampa Bay, and what it is trying to prove
  • Presentation box — blind-debossed lid, engraved edition plate, separate dust bags for the shirt and the jacket

Colorway and sizing

One colorway — Navy, White or Sand — and one size apply to every standard garment in the kit. The artist shirt and the bomber come in their maker's single colorway and are sized from the same block.

Per Beach Recovery identity standards the body colour is selectable but the Cross symbol is not: it appears in Beach Recovery blue, or reversed to white on a field of colour.

Placement

Beach Recovery Cross at the right chest, 2.75″ wide. Full Beach Recovery signature centred on the back, 10.5″ wide.

Charged today. Ships on or before 30 November 2026, ahead of Art Basel Miami Beach, 4–6 December 2026.

If we cannot ship by that date we will contact you with a new date and the option to cancel for a full refund. You can cancel for a full refund at any time before your kit ships.

The basalt specimen included is a material sample, not a security or a certificate of ownership.
